Successful DEIMOS run
The DLS team (David Wittman, Will Dawson, and Perry Gee, with huge help from Brian Lemaux) completed a successful run with the DEIMOS multi-object spectrograph on the Keck II telescope, obtaining hundreds of high-quality spectra. The run consisted of two half-nights. The first night was excellent, and although the second night clouded up after a few hours, the run was still a success overall.
